A KR–SG Short Video Contest
Telling Our Stories:
Celebrate 50 years of friendship between Korea and Singapore through a Short Video Contest that invites you to share your unique story, creativity, and cultural perspective. This is a special opportunity to promote mutual understanding and digital public diplomacy between the two nations.
Tell us what Korea means to you as a Singaporean — or what Singapore means to you as a Korean. Share a moment, a memory, or a message that reflects the friendship between our two cultures. Whether it’s your daily life, a travel experience, or a personal reflection, we want to hear your story of friendship.
Don’t miss your chance to win exciting prizes — including round-trip tickets to Korea, luxury hotel stays, and cutting-edge Korean electronics — awarded to six outstanding winners. We warmly invite your participation and look forward to your inspiring stories!
Eligibility
Open to Singaporeans and Koreans currently residing in Singapore.
Participants who reside outside of Singapore are not eligible to enter, even if they are of Singaporean or Korean nationality.

Submission Guidelines

3. How to Submit:
Click on the ‘Submission’ menu on the website
Fill out the online application form (including participant details and video description)
Once submitted, a confirmation email will be sent automatically
4. For Team Submissions:
One representative should complete the application form
Additional team members must be listed with their names and contact information in the form
5. Video File Format for Submission:

are accepted.
Resolution
Landscape mode required.
Minimum resolution:
Full HD (1920×1080)
Frame Rate
Use either 24fps or 30fps
for smooth playback.
File Size
Minimum: 1MB Maximum: 300MB (for direct upload on website)
Video Length
Duration: 30 seconds to 5 minutes Keep it concise and impactful.
Audio & Lighting Tips
Use natural lighting when possible. Minimize background noise for better clarity.
6. Subtitle Options:
English or Korean subtitles (both can be mixed)
7. Artificial Intelligence Tools:
You are allowed to use AI video creation programs such as Sora, Veo2, Kling AI, InVideo, etc.
8. IMPORTANT!!!!
Only content that does not infringe on others’ copyrights is allowed. Plagiarized or copied videos will be disqualified.
Do NOT use copyrighted music. Using music from the YouTube Audio Library is recommended.
